I will make this blog short and, hopefully, sweet.
Last week I had the unexpected pleasure of interviewing with Dr. Paul Reeves on Impact USA out of Detroit. Click on his name under the photo to learn more.
I say unexpected because it all came about quickly and seemingly out of nowhere.
I was chatting in a Facebook private message with friend Caroline Giammanco , author of “The Boonie Hat Bandit” and “Guilty Hearts” who asked if I would be interested in doing an interview. If so she could get me in touch with Deborah Ratliff who gathers info for Dr. Paul. (Are you with me?) I emailed my particulars to Deborah and within hours I received an email from Dr. Paul. I’ll stop there since my head’s spinning just writing it.
Without further adieu, here’s the interview if you have 30 minutes to spare. For those of you in Friday Fictioneers, you’ll note that the subject came up more than once. Perhaps we’ll see Dr. Paul in our midst as a Fictioneer in the not too distant future.
Thanks for the mention in your blog post, but this great interview was all your doing, along with Paul. I was happy to play the small role I played in making the arrangement. I loved hearing about your writing and your art. I think I’ll listen again!

Dear Deborah,
This is the best interview I’ve done to date. Paul has a knack from making a person feel at ease…like sitting in the living room sharing coffee and chatting with an ‘old’ friend. I’m sure he owes a lotto your help as the ‘hunter-gatherer.’ Thank you.
Shalom,

What a wonderful surprise it must have been and such an opportunity to make your work (including your portraits) more widely known. I listened to the interview which was great and it was wonderful putting a voice to your photo and name.

Dear Irene,
I’m so pleased that you took the time to come by and give a listen. I had great fun doing this interview. I’ve done others that made me cringe. Naturally I’m in hopes that this leads to bigger things. Part of putting one foot in front of the other.

No time to listen to all of it right now, but will try later. One thing I wanted to know is, being a purple person, did you choose the opening song? 😉

No, I didn’t choose the song, but I’m delighted that Paul did. I laughed out loud when I listened to the edited interview. 😀

Congrats and cheers! to the multi-talented lady. It was great listening to the interview Rochelle. 🙂
I would definitely agree with you on what you said: “Google is my thread”. Yes, I do remember those purple shoes, they had appeared here. 🙂
Rochelle, I would like to say that Friday Fictioneer is a wonderful and a creative place to be at. I love reading story entries from all. It’s always fun to read so many versions based on just one photo. Now I know your motto. And I’m thinking…mmh! If you say so is it so or … 😉 just kidding. I’m always thankful for your comments and time that you spend on reading my stories (and others, too).
The coffee table book seems interesting. Sending you best wishes, Rochelle. 😀

Dear Norma,
Actually I said was, “Google is my friend.” 😉 And the purple shoes are never far from me.
I so appreciate your taking the time to listen to my interview and leave a comment.
Truly what makes Friday Fictioneers work is the interaction. We are a global community and I’m grateful for the friends I’ve made a result.
Thank you for being a part of it.

What a pleasure it was hearing you talk about your books and art. Congratulations on the interview. I loved the gravity, the composure, the grace in your voice and needless to mention, your splendid articulation.
You are an inspiration, Rochelle. I would check out amazon to see if your books are available in the kindle version.
Best wishes,
Moon

Dear Moon,
Thank you so much for taking the time to listen to my interview. When I did my first radio interview a few years back I cringed when I heard it. Besides the interviewer not being all that good, I was nervous and unfocused. This one I’m quite pleased with. Dr. Paul is a skilled interviewer.
Thank you, too, for your kind words. The books are indeed available on Kindle on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk. I hope you’ll enjoy them (and review 😉 )
