This weekend I attended the Ozarks Writers League, OWL for short, in Branson MO. There I had the pleasure of meeting some of our Fictioneers, including our founder Madison Woods. However I did miss Russell Gayer and Keli Wright who are both FF’rs and OWL members. (Congrats to both on being contest winners.)
Last week Ted Strutz took a trip to Hawaii and met Doug MacIlroy.
Both visits, one personal and one vicarious, thrill me. It makes me feel connected. I dream of a larger meeting one day, but for now we have the internet and shared stories.
How absolutely wonderful…the best friendships/family ever!

How fantastic! Am I the only one in the Netherlands? I’d love to meet some fellow Fictioneers in person π

Keeping in mind I’m lousy at geography, I’d say your closest Friday Fictioneering neighbor is BjΓΆrn Brudberg in Stockholm. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if all of us could meet?

We also have quite a few members in the UK. Told you I’m bad at geography, right?

I have said that, when I win the lottery big, I will travel to all the homes of my favorite fellow bloggers, take them to dinner, and just talk away. Sounds good to me.

I love the title “Family Reunion” I’ve been part of this group for about a year and have only had the pleasure of meeting two or three of the “family” in person, but look forward to expanding that number in the coming year.
