PURPLE PROSE AND PASSION ON THE AIRWAVES
Wow! Where does the time go? Nearly a year ago I did a radio interview with Dr. Paul Reeves on his Family Talk program. At the time we chatted about writing, Friday Fictioneers and the coffee table companion book I was working on.
A STONE FOR THE JOURNEY debuted the first week in September so Dr. Paul invited me back to discuss my opus. 😉
He has a way of putting the interviewee at ease. I think that particular morning the conversation could’ve continued well into the afternoon. We spoke of the joys of aging while staying young. As we did last year, we talked about Friday Fictioneers which is so much a part of my life. I hope you enjoy listening to the interview as much as I enjoyed doing it.
Stay Tuned for Part 2 as Dr. Paul invited me back to read a few selections from A STONE FOR THE JOURNEY. It’s tentatively set to air Monday, November 26.
Shalom,
Rochelle

Dear Rochelle, I have problem in understanding English accentor, you can say ‘other than Indian accent’. I would have enjoyed written interview. You are excellent writer and painter. Wonderful so expressive drawing. I wonder, how you find time to do all this and reply to each and every comment. Kudos.

Dear Indira,
i’m not sure what you mean by ‘other than Indian accent’. I only hope I didn’t say something thoughtless that offended you. It would never be my intention. Thank you for taking the time to listen and to comment. I guess with Friday Fictioneers I take the time to reply to comments because I appreciate those who take the time to leave a comment. I used to read and comment on each and every story until I realized there are those bloggers who never comment on mine. 😉 You definitely have never fallen in that category.
Thank you so much, my friend.
Shalom,
Rochelle

You will not understand, dear. Here in India, we speak English with different accent. To follow American, British etc English is difficult for us. I watch English movies with subtitles only as I can’t follow fully the dialogues. I prefer to read , then I can understand fully and google some word for the meaning. I think I have made my point clear. I find it difficult to explain.
I love when I read a good writing and find it difficult not to comment. Though doubtful that I have explained my appreciation correctly or not.
Thanks for calling me friend. loved it.
Shalom.
Indira.
I have improved a lot in 4 years of blogging, no? 😉

One more thing, you will also not be able to follow Indian, or Asian English accents. We pronounce words differently.
