A word prompt to get your creativity flowing this weekend. How you use the prompt is up to you. Write a piece of flash fiction, a poem, a chapter for your novel…anything you like. Or take the challenge below – there are no prizes – it’s not a competition but rather a fun writing exercise. If you want to share what you come up with, please leave a link to it in Sammi’s Comment Section.
LET’S CALL THE WHOLE THING OFF
“I was never any good at fractions.” She scratched her head. “Numbers. Division. Fuhget about it.”
“Not fractions.” He huffed. “Factions.”
“What’s the diff?”
“Factions are usually about strife. Separatism. Discord. Opposition. Get it?”
“That’s what I said. Division.”
Dear Rochelle,
You definitely got a chuckle out of me on this one!
Shalom and lots of love full of laughter,

Cute. You definitely don’t want to get your factions mixed up with your fractions. They might multiply into a division you can’t control. Unless you can subtract one from the equation. Just sayin…..

Which could be equal to the half but not more than a third. But then it could cause schism in my ism…and you know how that can hurt. 😉

Yeah, factions, fractions, fiction, friction, it’s all a story of rough percentages!
Raised a grin here, m’lady.

Smart story, Rochelle.
Faction and fraction – just a letter addition. Meaning well expressed.
